Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients
- 680 g (1.5 lbs) Brssel sprouts
- 113 g (4 oz) bacon or pancetta diced
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 30 mL (2 Tbsp) balsamic glaze
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) roastes pistachios, coursely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Trim and remove any dried outter leaves from the Brussel spouts and cut lengthwise
- Place Brussel sprouts on a baking sheet on parchement paper
- Add bacon and garlic, then drizzle with olive oil
- Season with salt and pepper
- Toss well and spread into a single layer
- Roast for 20 - 30 min or until tender and nicely browned, tossing once halfway through
- Remove from the oven and then drizzle with balsamic glaze and toss
- Top with pistashios and serve
