Corn Bread

CORN BREAD

  • 1¼ cups Bisquick baking mix 
  • ¾ cup cornmeal 
  • 2 tbsp. white sugar 
  • ½ tsp. salt 
  • 1 egg 
  • 2 tbsp. shortening 
  • ⅔ cup milk

Combine all ingredients and beat well for 30 seconds.
Spread batter in greased pan and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
