Apple Crisp
- 5 cups sliced and peeled Ida Red apples (about 8)
- 1 cup brown sugar (not packed)
- ¾ cup flour
- ¾ cup quick-cooking rolled oats (maybe a bit more)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ cup firm, cold butter or margarine
Arrange apples in a square baking dish.
Combine brown sugar, flour, oats and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Press mixture over apples. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until top is browned.
