Pasta Sauce (Nancy's)

  • 1 lb. Ground meat
  • 1 large cooking onion
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes (14 oz.) mixed in blender
  • 1 small can tomato sauce or 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms with liquid (14 oz.)
  • Artificial sweetener

Brown meat, add onions, stir until they are limp. Add other ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. Add ½ tsp. liquid artificial sweetener or 2 tbsp. sugar. Serve over hot pasta.
